Ordering
Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur Whitley bay skate club cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.
When you have placed an order over £70 please ensure that you click the FREE DELIVERY option as this is not automatically available and should you not click FREE DELIVERY option you will automatically be charged the standard postage rate, this is none refundable.
If a product you have selected is only available on back-order please allow extra time for delivery. You will be notified when the stock is available
Returns and Exchanges
Whitley Bay Skate Club always wants you to get what you want, but in the event that you would like to exchange or return an item please abide by the following guidelines:
Clothes
All clothing must be returned unwashed and unworn with the original tags still attached.
- No stains, pet hair, human hair, make-up, smoke smell, or other unappropriate smells.
- Clothing that has been worn and/or washed, cannot be exchanged or returned.
Shoes
- Shoes must be returned in the same state they were received. Unworn.
- Please use the box the shoes were shipped in to return shoes. Do not place any shipping labels or tape directly on the shoe box.
- Please make sure shoes do not have any sock fuzz/lint, human or pet hair, dirt, or any other foreign substances before returning them.
Skateboards/scooters /balance boards
- Skateboards must be returned without being skated.
- All skateboard parts cannot be exchanged or returned once assembled.
- scooters must be returned without being Used and with all packaging
- Balance boards cannot be exchanged simply because you have changed your mind.
Other Items
- Shrink wrapped product must be returned with the wrap still sealed.
***Note: Any items sent back that do not abide by these guidelines will either be sent back to the customer or will be issued with Whitley Bay Skate Club store credit, at Whitley Bay Skate Clubs discretion. All Returns and Exchanges must be submitted within 14 days of the Invoice date. This rule applies to website and telephone sales Returns and Exchanges received after 14 days may also be returned to the customer or issued store credit, at the discretion of Whitley Bay Skate Club. There are no returns on items purchased in store unless issue is clothing size related in which case goods should be returned with all labels, boxes, wrapping etc We will then inspect the product and contact you. From time to time we may need to send some item back to the supplier/manufacturer for their opinion.

Defective and Damaged Goods
Whitley Bay Skate Club wants you to be completely satisfied with everything that we offer. This begins from the site all the way to the product you select. Product is deemed defective either from the manufacturer or Whitley Bay Skate Club should be shipped back to Whitley Bay Skate Club where our quality control department will examine it and do the following: Consider it defective through Whitley Bay Skate Club standards, and immediately ship your replacement or refund your money. Or contact the manufacturer to see if they cover the defective merchandise, then contact you with the information we have received.
Any issues with ISKUTE/Helix Pro Balance boards in any cases relating to these please contact us to arrange return. We will then send the board to manufacturer for a full inspection as warranty is with them and they need to locate what the problem is. We will not offer direct replacements for these as due to the nature of the machine the manufacturer needs to check that the problem has not been caused by misuse or non compliance with guidelines. Never ride a skateboard. Scooters balance boards or Heelys in the rain. Riding in the rain can cause problems such as rusted bearings, delamination, warping, and graphic smearing, in cases with ISKUTE/Helix Pro Balance boards riding in the rain can damage battery and warranty does not cover damage to battery caused by misuse and riding in the rain or through puddles. If this is the case This will void out any acceptable return to Whitley Bay Skate Club. A new battery can be purchased at extra cost to the customer.
Whitley Bay Skate Club will not replace snapped/broken skateboard decks or scooters or decks with stress/pressure cracks or damaged trucks as a result of skating hard. The majority of board breaks/snaps happen when landing a trick and your feet do not land in the correct position and not due to a manufacturing fault.
Please always keep proof of purchase.
For Iskute/Helix Pro balance boards please remember to complete and return manufacturer warranty card as failure to do so will impact on your warranty and will result in it becoming void.

Payment & Security:
The methods of payment we accept at Whitley Bay Skate Club are currently only through Paypals online secure checkout. You do not need to be registered to Paypal and can input your card details securely through their site which is fully encrypted and PCI compliant. We do not handle, store or have access to any of your credit card information.
Collection from store payments can be made using Visa, Switch, Solo, Mastercard, Access, Delta,Visa Electron and American Express.
Delivery
We try to make the delivery process as simple as possible and our able to send your order either you home or to your place of work.
Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. If you order after 4 pm the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow an extra two working days.
We aim to deliver within 2 working days maximum but sometimes due to high order volume in certain sales periods please allow 4 days before contacting us. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
All small orders are sent out via royal mail 1st packets post service, if you are not present a card will be left to advise you to pick up your goods from the local sorting office.
Each item will be attempted to be delivered twice. Failed deliveries after this can be delivered at an extra cost to you or you can collect the package from your local post office collection point.
Collection from store
If you choose to pick up your order instead of having it shipped to your address, you will need to bring ID and the credit card used in the transaction. If you arrive, and do not have the aforementioned ID and credit card used in the transaction, we can ship the order to your address. If you change your mind and/or cannot pick up the order, once it has been processed, please contact us for your shipping options.
Safety Information
- You should always wear a helmet and pads when using any of the equipment purchased from Whitley Bay Skate
- Never use any equipment on or near roads.
- The items we sell are fun but can be dangerous- you are using them at your own risk so please be careful- please read all safety instructions before use.
Whitley Bay Skate Club and its owners will not be responsible for any injury or damage caused as a result of using any equipment purchased from Whitley Bay Skate Club. Goods purchased from Whitley Bay Skate Club are used at your own risk.
Please be careful. Whitley Bay Skate Club are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. We always promote safe skating.
Privacy Notice
This policy covers all users who register to use the website. It is not necessary to purchase anything in order to gain access to the searching facilities of the site.
